CapitalBAY receives TÜV quality management certification for property management activities

Berlin, 21. January 2020

Berlin, 21 January 2020 – Capital Bay GmbH (CapitalBAY), the Berlin-based real estate investment manager, has obtained certification from TÜV Süd, one of Germany’s leading inspection and certification services, that its property management activities are, with effect
from the close of 2019, in compliance with quality management standard ISO 9001:2015. With this certification now achieved, the company will strive to continuously improve the quality of its services and service processes and to further raise the transparency of its quality
performance.

“In close cooperation with the team from TÜV, we conducted a careful examination spanning all of our processes and workflows in our property management business, meticulously documenting these as well as adjusting them as necessary," says Oliver Müller, Managing Director of CB Property Management GmbH. "As a process-oriented organisation, our quality management fulfils all the requirements for a modern, sustainable management system based upon best practice. We are thus very proud to be able to now display this widely recognised seal of approval."

"Quality management is one of our company’s most important strategic building blocks," adds Rolf Schneider, Chief Operating Officer of CapitalBAY. “Our commitment to quality is lived and breathed by our entire team in the way they carry it out, each and every day. This certification now makes the quality of our offerings more visible and transparent to our clients. At the same time, our staff also benefit from the clear and precise definition of processes and workflows. And property management is just the beginning. We are planning, over time, to obtain quality management certifications for the entire CapitalBAY Group.”

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is, according to TÜV Süd, the most widely recognised quality management standard, both within Germany and internationally. It is based upon seven foundational principles that also serve as guideposts for management actions: customer focus, leadership, relationship management, engagement of people, improvement, process approach, and evidence-based decision making. The ISO 9001 certification thus ensures and raises the quality of the products and services provided by companies, their efficiency and responsiveness, and the satisfaction of their customers.
