George Salden has transaction experience amounting to around €6 billion. He was previously a member of the Management Board and partner in Arbireo Capital AG, and Head of Transactions at Dr. Lübke & Kelber GmbH, where he was responsible for all major residential property transactions. Salden oversaw international property transactions as the Managing Director of alt+kelber Immobilienmanagement GmbH, a subsidiary of conwert Immobilien Invest SE.
Rolf Schneider is the COO of Capital Bay and is responsible for the company’s operating business. Schneider moved to the company from conwert Deutschland GmbH, where he was responsible for all German business activities of the listed Austrian company conwert Immobilien Invest SE as Managing Director and administered real estate assets under management of around €1.8 billion.
Christoph Geissler assume the functions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Geissler, who brings a legal background, previously served as Head of Real Estate Investment & Funds at WealthCap Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, an investment company in Munich. At WealthCap he served as managing director of more than 20 closed real estate funds and alternative investment funds, with total assets in Europe and the U.S. of more than EUR 7 billion. His previous professional career included posts at HVB Immobilien, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Over the past ten years, he has helped to manage transactions totalling more than EUR 5 billion in value.
Sonja Bischoff (MRICS) is the head of Commercial Asset Management at Capital Bay. She has more than 15 years of professional experience at renowned real estate companies, during which time she executed a transaction volume of around €4 billion. Among other positions, she was a director and authorised signatory at CR Investment Management and Jones Lang LaSalle, and a manager at EY Real Estate.
As Managing Director of CB Capital Management GmbH, Torsten Doyen is responsible for expanding fund business with institutional investors. The real estate management graduate moved to the company from Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate, where he most recently managed institutional sales and was responsible for the capital management company in the role of Managing Director. Doyen has many years of professional experience in the real estate industry, including positions at Bankhaus Wölbern & Co. and at Nordcapital. He can look back on a transaction volume of around €3 billion. In addition, the 46-year-old is also a lecturer at the Academy of the Real Estate Industry (ADI).
Gottfried Drescher is the Managing Director of CB Cash & Carry Management GmbH. In this role, the 56-year-old is responsible for the administration and development all retail properties at Capital Bay. Gottfried Drescher moved to the company from Metro Cash & Carry Deutschland, where he most recently managed a sales volume of EUR 1.3 billion and 2,800 employees as head of Sales. From 2010 to 2015, he served as the manager of C+C Schaper GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Metro Cash & Carry, where he integrated the 51 C+C Schaper stores into the portfolio of Metro Cash & Carry Deutschland.
Markus Holzer is responsible for fund management and for the syndication of executed transactions The Managing Director of CB Fund Management GmbH previously held the role of Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Morgan Stanley real estate investment company and was responsible for fund and asset management of globally invested funds. Holzer can look back on a transaction volume of more than €6 billion.
Christiane Liefländer is a Managing Director of CB Property Management GmbH.
The engineering graduate has more than 20 years of professional experience in the real estate industry, particularly in the administration of residential and commercial properties. Before joining Capital Bay, Christiane Liefländer held a management position at alt+kelber Immobilienverwaltung and was a managing partner at the property management company Libre.
Ronny Mergner is the head of Residential Asset Management at Capital Bay. He previously spent over ten years working as an authorised signatory for the Austrian conwert Immobilien Group, where he was responsible for asset management and development for the entire Central Germany region. Mergner was most recently responsible for assets under management of around €700 million and can look back on successful construction projects totalling around €200 million.

Being head of Customer Service, Marina Kötteritzsch is responsible for the service department. As business economist she looks back on over 20 years of experience in the field of customer service and development of servicecentre units. She also was responsible for operation services of ALBA Facility Solutions GmbH as well as for center of services of GSW Immobilien AG with approx. 55,000 residential units.
As Managing Director of Capital Bay Transaction Management GmbH, Ralph Ziegler is responsible for all of Capital Bay’s property acquisitions. Ziegler moved to the company from Deutsche Wohnen AG, where he was responsible for the purchase and sale of large residential portfolios as Managing Director of Asset Management. He executed a transaction volume of around €3 billion here within four years.
